Portia Ball visited the Aragon Road to launch her kayak in Colonel By Lake on a blistering late November morning to take photographs of the changing elements: air, water and ice.
The perspective low from the water level gives us a unique view through the eyes of a nature lover. I use the word “nature lover” because what else would one be to brave the cold lake, with water temperatures just hovering around zero degrees, a mist hanging over Draper Bay to create a mysterious backdrop. Have a look, enjoy, and thanks to Portia Ball and her shore assistant.
